WHAT’S IN MY PACK?

I didn’t start hiking until I was 30 when I did the Inca Trail in Peru and fell in love with the outdoors. Since then, my life has pretty much revolved around chasing adventure, which led me to move to the stunning Blue Mountains. When people ask me what I like doing in my spare time, I often reply, “walking slowly away from people”. While I’m fully aware of the benefits of ultralight packing (I tried it once), I’ve accepted my fate as someone who will always choose a little luxury over going faster.
