As the curtain rises at Milan’s Building Gallery, the spotlight shines on clothing fit for a rehearsal and a performance, amid an eclectic mix of artwork by Shlomo Harush. This is Phantasie, the Weekend Max Mara signature collection in collaboration with Milanese-based Austrian fashion designer Arthur Arbesser for spring/summer 2024.

Known for weaving his that Austria’s capital is another muse he always returns to. “I grew up in Vienna with very nerdy parents. Instead of going to the beach for family holidays we had countless trips to museums, Gothic churches and castles,” recalls Arbesser.
