LOOKING SHARPE

Chase Sharpe has felt the need for speed since he was six years old, when his dad, Henry, bought him his first kart. Ever since that moment, he’s been racing mad and now, aged 13, he’s getting ready to compete in tin tops. His car of choice… an MG, of course. After all, 20 years ago, his dad was competing in an MG Maestro so it’s only right that Chase should take to the track in its spiritual successor.

He looks set to be an unstoppable force. He had his first experience of cars by testing a junior Autograss vehicle, then junior hot rods, then he moved back to Honda Cadet karts, winning his first championship, aged only 11, in 2022. He then moved up a class to the Junior Prokart class for a couple of races, then Chase made the permanent move to cars.
