GROW WITH GAZ

As I step into the month of April, I feel as if every sense is awakened by vibrant life springing up all around me. Sweet scent fills the air and there’s also some much-welcomed warmth.

This second instalment of my grow-along series is all about the diverse seeds that I plan to sow this month, including some of the techniques I employ at my little Welsh homestead, and some of my top growing inspirations. One highlight includes a creative and delicious method for utilising carrot tops, rather than composting them, after thinning out the carrot patch in late spring.

I’m also showcasing my absolute favourite recipe for capturing the essence of April radishes, so you can enjoy their crisp, peppery flavour for months to come. Join me now as we embrace the beauty and bounty of April in the garden.
