PAYNE OPENS BTRDA TRIPLE BID WITH LAKELAND VICTORY

Following a near-perfect run, Elliot Payne got his bid for a third successive BTRDA Gold Star Championship win off to the best possible start by winning the Malcolm Wilson Rally.

With Patrick Walsh back in the co-driver’s seat, Payne was victorious in his Ford Fiesta Rally2 following a good battle with Garry Pearson and Hannah McKillop whose similar car dropped down the order following a puncture.
