RECOGNITION for your contributions, in any field, is refreshing. For me, it’s an upbeat feeling. You just never know the impact that your words might have on people’s emotions or their wellbeing. A little can mean a lot.
I was invited by Chas and Kymberly Taylor to be the guest speaker the recent Home Counties Ex-Boxers Association meeting (this may read a little like a sequel to a recent column of mine, because Chas and Kymberly were behind the boxing memorabilia fayre I attended in October).
I always look forward to EBA meetings because I enjoy being around the boxing fraternity. You find yourself with men and women connected to boxing in various ways
