One of the brightest stars in the fashion firmament dimmed when 102-year-old style icon Iris Apfel died at the beginning of March.
Nicknamed “the geriatric starlet” by herself, no less, Iris – who before finding fame as an octogenarian fashionista had worked for decades in textiles and interior design, including at the White House – passed away at her home in Palm Springs.
