Fans of TV’s much-loved baking contest are in for a treat as the celebrity version of the show returns with a new crop of stars heading into the tent of dreams, all hoping to impress judges Dame Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood with their cakes and bakes.
It’s not just about who’s got a soggy bottom or a runny ganache, though, because as the title suggests, The Great Celebrity Bake is for a good cause – it aims to raise awareness of the disease, as well as funds for life-saving research.
