Steve Kennedy Is Going Under Cover

Steve Kennedy knows what you are probably thinking. It’s April. The spawn is on. You’ve got to target those bed-bound bass. And, while generally speaking, April is one of the best months to target bass on beds throughout most of the United States, there are exceptions to every rule. Bass are creatures of movements, Kennedy explains. And sometimes, to catch them, you’ve got to move, too.

For years, Kennedy has been targeting transient, shallow-water bass with one of the hottest reaction baits of the past decade: the Z-Man ChatterBait JackHammer. “I’ve won a lot of money with that thing tied on,” Kennedy admits. “But lately I’ve found a new bait that I am going to have tied on everywhere I go.”
