Step into any bar in Dublin and you will find an incredible whiskey collection lining the walls – from floor to ceiling.

Though most of us know that whiskey has Celtic origins, ask anyone from Ireland and they will proudly tell you that it was Irish monks who first distilled the liquid gold on their emerald isle.

There are great many ways to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day - from tucking into soda bread as part of a classic breakfast to pulling on clothes in various hues of green. But no Paddy’s Day is complete without festive drinking. It can be daunting to choose the best whiskey, especially when sharing a dram with friends (and you want to sound like you know what you’re talking about)
