J warms up the early birds by performing a handful of songs by his band Lifesigns, topped off by , a wonderful tune written with the late, great John Wetton during their pair’s spell with Qango. Alone on the stage save for his keyboard and a mic, everything else is sampled. John is a fine singer and an when the guitarist himself is probably at home in Darlington, with feet up, watching and eating a Pot Noodle (other savoury snacks are available). Prog karaoke, anyone?
