The wrong tyres

hen Pablo Picasso said it took him 10 years to understand how kids paint, and then an additional 10 years to learn how to paint as kids do, he operated with a few basic colours instead of fiddling around for days on end with 27 shades of turquoise and magenta. Children paint with green, blue, yellow and red. There isn’t yet any finesse, they don’t bother with nuances, they do the macro. And they just get on with it.
