Mother's Day: London's top female chefs reveal their favourite recipes inspired by their mums

With both International Women’s Day and Mother’s Day falling in March, this month is the time to celebrate the achievements that women have made in all walks of life.

Today, London restaurants are increasingly helmed by women who are the very best chefs in the country. Though a great many of the capital’s chefs are men, the era of boys-club dominance is thankfully over.    

Still, ask any to Michelin-starred heights, or Italian nonna. Below we’ve asked five of the capital’s foremost to share the recipe that reminds them of the maternal figures who shaped their culinary career. Make one for the most important woman in your life this weekend.
