Arlington: Everything you need to know about London's 'new Le Caprice'

Unless you’ve been completely cut off from the outside world, by now you’ll have caught wind that last week, famed restaurateur Jeremy King unveiled Arlington — the long-anticipated reimagination of iconic celebrity hangout, Le Caprice

Nestled in the same spot at 20 Arlington Street on the edge of St James’s, the original opened in 1947, dreamt up by Mario Gallati, a former maître d’ at. It was hot from the off, with the likes of Noël Coward, Ivor Novello and Beatles manager Brian Epstein all dining there. Gallati gave up Le Caprice in 1975, and it changed hands several times before being taken over by King and his business partner Chris Corbin in 1981.
