George Galloway, minus his trademark fedora hat, was sworn in to the Commons on Monday to represent his fifth constituency in four decades of firebrand politics.
Following his explosive win in last week’s Rochdale by-election, the Workers Party of Britain leader was escorted in to the chamber by two other MPs: Conservative Sir Peter Bottomley and fellow Scot Neale Hanvey.
Sir Peter is known as. Mr Hanvey defected from the SNP to the Alba Party after he was accused of sharing antisemitic posts on social media.
