Almost certainly the most heartwarming and inspiring book of this year. Shane Granger and Meggi Macoun manage a charity delivering medical and educational supplies to remote islands in Indonesia and. Three to four months each year are spent sourcing and purchasing items that the communities have told them they need and the rest of the year is spent sailing to deliver them. Goods include: midwife kits, backpacks filled with educational resources, repaired sewing machines and a travelling doctor. Granger’s writing is colourful, Macoun’s illustrations are charming and funds raised will aid essential resources.
