Vanessa Feltz breaks down over Dame Esther Rantzen's latest cancer update and Dignitas plans

Vanessa Feltz broke down in tears live on air as Dame Esther Rantzen’s daughter gave a health update on the cancer stricken star.

Veteran broadcaster Dame Esther, 83, revealed last year that she has been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer and has since joined the assisted-dying clinic Dignitas in Switzerland.

Euthanasia is currently illegal in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and is punishable with up to 14 years in prison.
