Platt Park For years, Platt Park played Jan to Wash Park’s Marcia, the little sister no one thought about much, charming and authentic but rarely included on Denver’s best neighborhood lists. Then people who visited the vintage community, maybe to dine at the world-famous Sushi Den on South Pearl Street or spend a Sunday shopping along South Broadway’s Antique Row, started noticing how vibrant and busy Platt Park’s pretty, leafy streets were, as satisfied residents pushed strollers and sauntered to top-notch restaurants, bars, and boutiques and gathered for farmers markets, concerts, and festivals.
