Upper Hutt couple Kirsti and Dean Somerville enjoyed a smooth ride in their friend Danny Nelson’s 1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria coupé, which inspired them to look for a ’56 Ford wagon with four doors.
“There are not many around,” says Dean. “In fact, I’ve not seen any [others] in New Zealand, and we’ve attended many car shows.”’
He and Kirsti regularly display cars at classic car days around the country and co-organise the annual Moonshine American Vehicle Day at Trentham racecourse.
