Increase in grants not enough: recipients

COST OF LIVING

PENSIONERS and child support recipients are not impressed with the government’s increase of a R100 and R20 respectively on their grants.

They say that 30 years into democracy, the government could have done better to ensure the grants were aligned to the rising cost of living.

Many were two-minded about whether they would cast their vote on May 29.
