When I was in my 20s, I lived in dungarees, slinky slip dresses and chunky platforms,’ says Jo. ‘But seeing my old fashion favourites back in the shops, and in my daughter Izzy’s wardrobe, has been a bit of a surprise.
‘I’m not convinced that everything I used to love will become a favourite now I’m in my 50s,’ she admits. ‘I wouldn’t dream of squeezing into a tiny crop top – and I think Izzy would be mortified if I did. But that doesn’t mean I can’t rock the 90s the second time around, after all, it’s my generation that set the trends Izzy is loving now.’
