he Irish got around, especially in America, and traditions from the Celts thrive in the Land of Enchantment. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the wearing of the color green to symbolize a sense of strength and solidarity with the Republic of Ireland. “The amazing thing is the variety of shades of green that are seen in Ireland,” says Caren the Emerald Isle.” Accordingly, Irish pubs throughout the state will host the green-clad masses on March 17. “The focus of St. Patrick’s Day is fun,” says Garcia. “The spirit is very welcoming and joyous.” We scouted out some of the best places to visit on the holiday—or any day—according to a few of our favorite Irish sayings.
