PREFECT 107E

The Prefect was the upmarket, four-door companion to the basic Popular and Anglia models. It typically received a similar bodyshell to the Anglia, while the Popular made do with the superseded previous version. However, when the new Anglia 105E arrived in 1959, it was the only model to get the new, Transatlantic-style body. This time, the four-door Prefect and the two-door Popular both used the old 100E shell – albeit superficially reworked in the 107E’s case.
