HOW TO CATCH A BREAK: THE ROUTE TO THE TOP IN UK MOTORSPORT

The highest profile championship within UK motorsport is undoubtedly the British Touring Car Championship and it is an arena that many drivers aspire to be part of. There is that same desire among team owners and crew members.

The level of detail and engineering that goes into the two-litre turbocharged cars which form the grid is unparalleled on the national motorsport scene and that makes it highly appealing to both experienced and ambitious team members as well.

Husband-and-wife Christian and Amy Dick run what will be a four-car assault on the category in 2024 with a quartet of Toyota Corolla machines. That is no small undertaking and the team kindly opened its doors to Motorsport News to help us unearth the stories of the various different routes to the top of some of the hardworking staff who help underpin the Cheshire operation’s efforts.
