As a motorsport journalist, it’s possibly the question you are asked more than any other. “How do you become a motorsport journalist?” And it’s not easy to answer.

But it’s understandable why we’re asked. As if you have a job you enjoy, you will never work a day in your life. Working in motorsport journalism is indeed a privilege. Yet, with this, getting in is far from straightforward.
