1 Biopacemaker controls the heart
A small group of cells known as the sinus node is located in the wall of the right atrium of the heart, emitting electrical impulses at regular intervals. The impulses travel to the rest of the heart along specific routes to ensure that the heart’s muscles contract in the correct sequence.
