If you’re a motorsport fan, you’ll always remember the first time you saw racing live, at the track. The first actual car racing I ever saw was at the Sydney Showground Speedway in 1970. It was a very exciting night for an eight-year-old obsessed with cars and car racing... I was lucky in that I also got to witness racing – if only just the once – at the old Warwick Farm circuit
