My dad was a builder, so from as far back as I can remember, I was with him on site collecting bits and pieces of material, bringing them home and creating little houses out of them. I loved going out to site with him during the school holidays. My bedroom was my styling haven and I remember I used to constantly move things around, coming up with new styling ideas. As I got older, I loved everything to do with design and was leaning towards fashion at age 15, where I had my own label of designs that I would sell. My parents were not very impressed that I wanted to go down this path and they encouraged me to further my education, so I chose interior design and fell in love with every aspect of the industry.
