Hollywood Cool

re you a fan of Western films but don’t recognize the name John R. Hamilton? You’re not. Among other stars Hamilton photographed were Kirk Douglas, Steve McQueen, Clint Eastwood, Paul Newman and Natalie Wood. A collection of 52 of those images from the photographer’s estate are the subject of the exhibit “Hollywood Cool,” through March 10 at the Mad Kat Gallery [] in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
