IF THIS was the acid test that Hamzah Sheeraz needed, then this 24-year-old, hailed as “the British Tommy Hearns” by his promoter Frank Warren, is well set to rule the world like the original ‘Hitman’ did.

Sheeraz needed just 156 seconds to see off Liam Williams, who was dropped twice en route to this stoppage. The first flooring came within a minute, and only needed one of Sheeraz’s jabs to do it.
