IN JANUARY 1954, Dick Rogers became the first boxer to represent Northampton ABC. To mark their 70th anniversary, the club staged a show at the Guild Hall.

The show was matched by Scott Beasley, now head coach at the club he boxed for, and he invited fighters from every club in the town.
