THE Fife Agricultural Association's Fife Show, in the fine setting of Kinloss Estate on the outskirts of Cupar, is traditionally a great family day out. Walking around the displays and across the field with my young grandson, Arthur, in May 2023 we came across some of the friendliest dogs imaginable.
Passing young Arthur back to his parents, I stopped to chat with those displaying the dogs and learned that they are the new Fife Bloodhounds. their magnificent rural setting, fishing on the River Almond and ensuring they learned to handle a shotgun safely.
