Pensioner with severe dementia convicted in fast-track Single Justice Procedure after move to care home

A pensioner with severe dementia was prosecuted by the DVLA in a controversial court system despite proof that he is incapacitated and now living in a care home.

The 83-year-old stopped driving two years ago but kept hold of his classic red 1975 MG which was stored in the garage.

He was moved to a care home on October 11 last year,
