“In preparation for playing Elizabeth [in Apple TV+’s latests] I read this book on ladies etiquette,” says the Dagestani-Australian of preparing for her acting debut. “Everything was so coded back then. A woman dropping her handkerchief was a subtle way to show a man she was interested.”
