ELON’S BRAIN CHIP AIMS TO CHANGE LIVES

But some are concerned about Neuralink’s lack of transparency

ELON Musk confirmed – in a statement posted to X (formerly Twitter) – that the first human has received a brain chip from Neuralink, his neurotechnology startup. He added that the patient is recovering well and that “initial results show promising neuron spike detection”.

Elon claims that the chip, which is about the size of a coin, will help people with severe paralysis and other complex neurological conditions by allowing them to control devices such as a computer
