Today King Charles and Queen Camilla celebrate their 19th wedding anniversary. But where will they be spending it?

Charles III has been resting up at Sandringham House during his treatment for cancer, which would be the natural place for a low-key celebration. But this residence is one of a number of historic properties available to the convalescing King, any of which would make fine locations for celebrations.

The first-born of Queen Elizabeth II came into the world on November 14, 1948, delivered in a guest room at Buckingham Palace, converted into a make- shift maternity unit.

When he was a month old, an official photograph was taken of mother and child by celebrity photographer , who recorded in his diary that the Prince “interrupted a long, contented sleep to do my bidding and open his blue eyes to stare long and wonderingly into the camera lens, the beginning of a lifetime in the glare of public duty”.
