    Six Nations: Marcus Smith injury hopes fading with England return a long shot

    Marcus Smith will be a long shot to beat his calf injury in time to play in the Six Nations. 

    The Harlequins fly-half had been hoping to shake off his calf problem to feature in the latter stages of the competition. 

    But now those chances are fading, leaving George Ford’s main options at No 10 for the bulk of the tournament.
