EPC ratings explained

I f you’re selling your home, you’ll need an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) to market your property. And if you’re buying, an EPC will tell you how energy efficient the new pad is – that’s good for the planet, and can mean cheaper energy bills. Homes with higher EPC ratings generally also have higher asking prices and are more attractive to potential buyers.
