How to… DO THE NC500 IN A MOTORHOME

The North Coast 500 (NC500) has become one of the most popular road trips in the UK, with visitors coming from far and wide to witness for themselves the beauty that Scotland has to behold. Often referred to as Scotland's ‘Route 66’, this road trip has also been named in the top three in Europe and continues to draw visitors in for a staycation or campervan road trip and, here, we are going to take you on a tour of this adventure of a lifetime.

This 516-mile circular route was launched as the NC500 in 2015 and has been growing in popularity ever since.

It starts and ends in Inverness, the unofficial capital of the Scottish Highlands, and hugs the coastline around the north of Scotland.
