Clyde on Tour

IN THE SUMMER OF 2010, filmmaker RA Beattie and I bought a 1974 Mercury Marquis. We named it Clyde and put it in a movie, Guiding Goes (still on YouTube). In the fourteen years since, Clyde’s keys have been passed from writer to writer, crossing the country at least four times. More than fifty different drivers have piloted Clyde, many of them woefully unprepared for the experience. Meanwhile, Beattie and I had occasionally discussed making a second film with Clyde. And now, that encore film has finally been made. Just not by us.
