KING Frederik of Denmark has shut down rumours of infidelity in his new book, saying he and wife Mary have reached a “stable point” in their lives together.
Frederik (55) was proclaimed king just two weeks after Queen Margrethe’s surprise abdication in January. Critics argued that the 83-year-old stepped down as Europe’s longest-serving living monarch after 52 years to put her “wayward” son on the throne and save his marriage.
