1960 Telecaster

This guitar has a very interesting backstory because it’s a 1960 Lake Placid Blue Telecaster that was owned by Alvino Rey. He was a fantastic multi-instrumentalist and an electronics pioneer who was involved with developing pickups and effects for electric guitars. But besides the provenance, the finish predates the official introduction of Lake Placid Blue by around 23 months.
