While Therapy? had problems slotting in back in the day – toosecuring them their first Top 30 placing since 1998’s tonight’s show is a victory lap that sees their new material fitting in like a hand in a velvet glove among the long-time favourties. The coruscating goth metal of is the very antithesis of the festive season, while the damning recalls the grandeur of the 90s thanks to Andy Cairns’s crunching guitar and melodic sensibility, Michael McKeegan’s elastic bass playing and the martial drumming of Neil Cooper.
