DUP tensions over Stormont deal exposed as peer says sea border concerns remain

Many Northern Ireland unionists remain deeply worried about the operation of a border in the Irish Sea despite the Government’s deal, a former deputy leader of the DUP has warned.

Lord Dodds of Duncairn said many unionists were also worried about the continued application of EU law in Northern Ireland, signalling tensions within the party over the Government’s efforts to revive Stormont.
