ICJ ruling ‘momentous’

THE Minister of International Relations and Co-operation, Dr Naledi Pandor, sat centre stage as Judge Joan Donoghue read her order.

After the hearing, Pandor addressed the media in the Hague and said a clear message had been sent by the court.

“It is now a test for the government and people of Israel if they will act in a manner that says all of us must respect international law,” Pandor said.

People gathered at local sites to watch the proceedings live.
