    Liverpool: Xabi Alonso the obvious choice with Jurgen Klopp succession planning under way

    Liverpool began succession planning before Jurgen Klopp's bombshell announcement that he will leave Anfield at the end of the season, with former midfielder Xabi Alonso considered a frontrunner.
