People born in the Republic of Ireland who have settled in the UK should be offered the right to claim British citizenship without the need for tests and fees, ministers have been told.
DUP MP Gavin Robinson called on ministers to change the law so people born in the Republic who had lived all their lives in Northern Ireland could easily claim British citizenship.
