Following the standard practice of cutting his teeth on a Vespa 50 as a 16-year-old, Dennis couldn’t wait to turn 17 and own his first Lambretta. As things were back then, it was with great enthusiasm that he duly chopped up his pristine SX200 to fulfil his dreams of owning a Lambretta chopper. After a while, the chopper was sold on to a mate, while Dennis purchased an SX150 and fitted a tuned 225 engine to it so that he could enter the ‘run what you brung’ at Santa Pod.
