RACE CHAT The highs of endurance racing scooters

Endurance scooter racing in the UK is now a firmly established part of the scooter racing scene and at its heart are Keith Terry, who heads the British Scooter Endurance Club (BSEC), David ‘Henry’ Smith of IDK Racing, Darren Scott of Team DSC and Dave Bristow of Hornet Racing. They’ve all experienced that winning feeling this season, so who better to chat with about the attractions of this relatively new phenomenon?

PG: So I guess the first question – what is the main motivator for you guys to go endurance racing?

Well in my case I was just sat in a van talking to Keith, and Henry’s is because he came to watch us sitting in a van. It’s all Keith’s fault! But you can’t really look at this without mentioning the Scootopia set-up and what we experienced with endurance racing abroad.
