Ange Postecoglou believes James Maddison "will want to make up for lost time" when he returns to the Tottenham squad against Manchester City following a "tough" three-month layoff.
The Spurs head coach has said Maddison is "ready to start" the FA Cup fourth-round tie at home to the champions on Friday, having trained all week. The England playmaker has been sidelined since suffering ankle ligament damage in the defeat to Chelsea on November 6.
